专业顾问Richard Hagan在他发表的「2012年度十大扣件业併购案」中表示，扣件企业的併购在2012年依然强劲。专门从事扣件业併购顾问的Pinnacle Capital Corporation总裁表示：「根据计算，去年全球完成的扣件企业併购案共有31件。」Hagan的数据显示扣件业在2011年有29件大型併购案，2010年则有30件。
Hagan从1995年起就开始每年统计十大併购案清单。以下为Richard Hagan的2012年十大扣件企业併购案：
