Easylink Industrial Co., Ltd is a high-quality (IATF-16949, ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and VDA 6.3) fastener manufacturer with plants in Taiwan and Vietnam. Founded in 1992, Easylink has over 30 years of experience supplying custom fasteners and stamping parts to the automotive, electronics, electrical, construction and furniture industries.

Throughout its existence, Lerry Tsao, the president of Easylink, has consistently challenged all employees for continuous quality and process improvements. Driven by these principles, Easylink opened a new plant and offices in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2018. This new facility is highly automated and draws heavily on the benefits of AIoT and Industry 4.0. The plant utilizes a five-story vertical automated warehouse system (AS/RS). Machine adjusters manage machine setup utilizing the touch panels located at each machine. Operators pull material from the warehouse system using these same touch panels. The material is delivered to the production machine by robotic buggies. Likewise, finished product is delivered back to the warehouse by similar automated buggies to await secondary operations if required.

With quality in mind, all production gauges have been equipped with wireless capabilities. This enables their connection to the plant’s industrial internet. Utilizing this capability, all production measurements are instantly communicated to the plants SPC software. The system will immediately detect an erroneous measurement and lock down the faulty equipment until corrective action has been taken. Easylink also maintains a TAF certified laboratory that is capable of making most customer PPAP and quality measurements.

To ensure the PPM requirements of its customers, Easylink has established an engineering team that has built over 50 optical sorting machines. Many of these machines are capable of 360-degree measurements to ensure that the entire fastener surface is inspected.

Last but certainly not least, Easylink goes the extra mile to enhance and uphold the standards of quality and consistency by producing its own tooling in-house. This strategic approach not only guarantees comprehensive documentation for tool replacement but also offers the added advantage of scheduling flexibility.
