Bridgeville-based AFC Holdings is acquiring R&E Fasteners Inc., a distributor of fasteners, electrical products and industrial supplies based in Reno, Nev.

AFC, which assembles many small but crucial parts like bolts, screws and springs that manufacturers need to build products, will stretch its portfolio westward with the deal, as R&E, who employs 20 and has has a facility in Las Vegas, primarily serves customers in Nevada and Northern California. Financials of the deal were not disclosed.

AFC was aquired by Incline Equity Partners, a private equity firm, two years ago. Incline also bought Gateway Fasteners three months later. Last fall, it acquired Eckart & Finard, based in Hartford, Conn.
