Severstal-Metiz's Brilliant Performance in New Product Lineup in 2013

Severstal-Metiz released a total of over 200 types of new metal products in 2013 encompassing metalware for bridge construction, metal fasteners, special electric cables, welded plates, and various shaped materials.
Among the new products, the most notable one is the knurled screw manufactured as per client drawings. Although it is a customized product, it has passed strength certification Russian GOST. Other notable products are ISO 13918 certified new flexible welding materials (Diameter: 16, 19, and 22mm. Length: 175 and 200mm), M16 hexagon nuts (Length: 150 and 200mm), Zinc-plated high-strength fasteners and hexagon nuts. In general, Severstal-Metiz's new products in 2013 expanded to square lock nuts, welded nuts, flange nuts, etc.
As general manager Alexander Shevelev tells, only by putting efforts to product design through after-market technical service can Severstal-Metiz become a unique steel maker in Russia.
