by Tony Liu, Fastener World Inc.

The 16th M-Tech Tokyo was successfully held on June 20~22 2012 at Tokyo Big Sight. The exhibit products covered mechanical parts, materials, molds & dies and related equipment. About 1,900 exhibitors participated in the show. With regard to the fastener sector, about 100 enterprises registered, among which most were companies from Japan and overseas exhibitors were from Taiwan (11), China (13), Korea (13) and Europe. The show is a significant show focusing on the domestic market in Japan.

According to the on-site observation of the staff from Fastener World Inc., 95% of the visitors were local buyers. In addition, buyers who visited Fastener World Inc.’s stand were mostly from Japan and indicated that fasteners made in Taiwan are with great quality, strong technology and competitive price. Considering the factor of Japanese yen appreciation, they thought fasteners made in Taiwan have a great opportunity to enter into the Japanese market with stable annual growth so they hoped to collect more relevant information. Regarding to International Fastener Show Tainan, TAIWAN, which will be opened in April 2013, over 10 Japanese buyers visiting Fastener World Inc.’s stand said they’ll plan to visit and purchase at the show and meanwhile know better about the development of Taiwan fastener industry.

Fastener World Inc. here would like to thank Joe Chen, Chairman of Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute (TIFI), Yang Xuetong, President of China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF), Feng Jinyao, Chairman of Fastener Sub Association of China General Machine Components Industry Association, Lin Zhi Ming, Chairman of Hong Kong Screw & Fastener Council and Jin-Sun Auh, Chairman of Korea Federation of Fasteners Industry Cooperatives (KFFIC) for their visits to our stands.
