Japan Depression Doesn't Mean Fastener Demand Shrinkage

According to the fastener import and export statistics of Japan, the export of Japan to other countries is decreasing year after year. It is obvious that Japan fastener market has been slowed down due to the impact of depression. However, the demand of Japan for fasteners from other countries is strangely increasing. As the depression does not mean the decreasing demand, the procurement outside the country can be helpful to the domestic market that can hardly do production domestically due to high costs. Simply to say, Japan reduces their domestic fastener production and compensate for the demand through the import to react to the market change.

When Japan begins to release the substantial fastener demand, are you well prepared or still watching?

Through the interview with Jau Yeou Industry Co., Ltd., Homn Reen Enterprise Co., Ltd., Boss Precision Works Co., Ltd., and U-Chance Enterprises Co., Ltd., which have been cooperating with Japan fastener industry for years, and the feedback from Taikoh Fastener Corporation, reders will obtain methods to entering the Japan market and ways to increase competitiveness through compliance with Japan’s requirement for quality and management. In addition, through interviewing with 3 other representative organizations including The Fasteners Institute of Japan, Hardlock Industry Co., Ltd., and Sunco Industries Co.,Ltd, a review of Japan fastener industry in 2012 as well as the regime of Prime Minister Abe in 2013 can be observed.

Then, in response to Japan fastener import and export during the last 3 years as well as the financial reports indicating how much Japan replies on China, specialists are invited to analyze Japan fastener market. Finally, a preview of the annual M-Tech Tokyo Fair and a profile of Taiwanese exhibitors will be presented. In this issue, we hope to provide comprehensive and first-hand information to those of you who are interested or want to invest in Japan.

The information above will be published in “Fastener World” Bi-monthly Edition May Issue in 2013.
