The major event of Taiwan fastener industry, “International Fastener Show Tainan Taiwan” (IFST) is hosted by Taiwan Fastener Trading Association (TFTA). TFTA members think that the show will fully emit the competitiveness and strength of Taiwan fasteners in the international market. Particularly, the show launches at the time of the global economic recovery, and also the Canton Fair is to be held on April 15. Therefore, global buyers can pay a visit to IFST, while arrange for attending other fairs in other Asian countries on a single trip. This will greatly raise the interests of global buyers and earn more purchase orders for Taiwan companies.

General Manager William Liao of International Fastener Exhibition Corp., the operator of the show, states that IFST is full of variety and will create a new history for the fastener industry. For one-stop shopping, the show gathers all sorts of Taiwan fasteners, parts, stamping parts, and up-stream, mid-stream, and down-stream manufacturers from automobile, industrial, machinery, construction, and DIY industry. Besides, the organizer put up a VIP break room serving free desserts, drinks, and Internet service at the main entrance. There is also a cuisine street combining Chinese and Western food for visitors to have a taste.

As General Manager Mr. Jimmy Chang of SPECIAL RIVETS CORP. pointed out, IFST is organized by TFTA, and therefore a lot of the exhibitors are traders with English communication ability to fully communicate with global buyers. Moreover, inspired by foreign fastener fairs, the organizer provides hotels with admission badges, show flyers, and information to give foreign buyers on their first day of their arrival. This will help buyers to make arrangements in advance to avoid long waits for registration.

General Manager Mr. Bill Chen of CHITE ENTERPRISES CO., LTD. states that most of the exhibitors are traders because Taiwan has a smaller market demand and needs foreign sales. IFST complies with the need of domestic companies. The standard of IFST is parallel to German and American fastener fairs in terms of momentum and decoration. The show is believed to attract the eyes of the public.

General Manager Mr. James Su of WELLFLY ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. states that in order to fully service foreign buyers, the organizer recruits the second generation of the industry for a service team to provide Chinese and English instructions. The organizer made many efforts to make IFST different from other fastener shows.
