Taiwan Screws Exports to US from January to July Grows 5%

This year from January to July, Taiwan's screws exporting to the US reached 305,200 tons, slightly growing 5% compared to 289,700 tons over the same period last year. Though the export volume slightly increased, the market share of screws importing to US had dropped. The market share from Jan. to July last year was 40%, but it declined to 36% over the same period this year. However, some market investors said that in the first seven months of this year Taiwan's overall screws exports were obviously growing; given that premise, and plus the screws sales growth in US, this perhaps shows the market diversification of Taiwan screws export market has been done better.
