The US subsidiary, Fastener Advance Products Co., Ltd., invested by Lih Ta Fasteners, Co., Ltd. has been awarded with Ford Quality Award Q1, becoming the second automotive company in Taiwan which wins the prize, after Ying Ming Industry Co., Ltd. Accordingly, the official awarding ceremony is going to be held recently.

Though Lih Ta only has production sites in Taiwan and the US, the company set up sales points in Canada, the US and Mexico. Its products have been sold to the US, Germany, Sweden, the UK, France, Japan and Thailand while customers include General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Audi, Renault, and Volvo. Lih Ta indicated China is its future target for market expansion and further to the European, US and Japanese markets and Southeast Asia. The company’s strategy is to begin with the Ford factories worldwide and gradually expand its business for leading automakers, expecting to create multiple business opportunities.
