Hai Kwang Enterprise Corporation, the main steel building manufacturer in the southern Taiwan, is in full swing to elevate capacity to double increase the factory expansion, and estimates to spend NT$6 billion to build a new electric furnace which has the highest production of 1.2 million tonnes, twice larger than the original one, in the current factory. The company’s product line is expected to expand from the range of one single steel item to include wires and steel rods. The company’s transformation is substantial, and its profitability in the future is pretty. The new electric furnace is scheduled to be completed after two years. The new product line has not only carbon reduction effect, but also reduces production costs. And the whole product integration will become more diverse, transforming from the old product pattern that only focused on the steel buildings, and further renews the operation status.
