Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute (TIFI) will hold the 16th the first member meeting at the end of the year, and will reelect its chairman, supervisors and advisors. It is expected Joe Chen will continue to serve the position.TIFI had selected 265 representative members with the right to vote from 1,055 members in July, including 52 members from south first region, 138 members from south second region, 29 members from central region, and 46 members from north region. They will elect 36 members for new supervisors and advisors with a new chairman at the year-end meeting. It is understood that the incumbent chairman Chen was only nominated for one term of office (if re-elected the chairman can be re-appointed once), and so far no others declare to compete the chairman position, so it is estimated that Chen will continue serving as the 16th chairman.
