Fastener World Night Welcomes Taiwanese Exhibitors to Gather and Celebrate

In tandem with the grand launch of IFE 2025, Fastener World (the exclusive sales agent for Taiwanese exhibitors) specially held the "Fastener World Night" gala dinner the evening before the show. The event took place at the well-known Chinese cuisine restaurant Ping Pang Pong, inviting Taiwanese exhibitors to gather together and enjoy a sumptuous meal in a warm atmosphere.
The venue was filled with guests that evening. Not only was there active exchange among exhibitors, but several officials and honored guests also attended to support Taiwan's fastener industry. Among them, Director Mr. Tai-Hsiang Liao of Economic Development Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government, and Chairman Mr. Yung-Yu Tsai of Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute took the stage to give speeches.
Director Tai-Hsiang Liao stated in his speech: "This year, everyone faced numerous difficult challenges, including the impact of reciprocal tariffs. The fastener industry has always been a crucial foundation for Kaohsiung. In recent years, Kaohsiung has actively promoted industrial transformation and welcomed new investment opportunities. The development of industries such as electric vehicles further highlights the fastener industry's role as a key pillar. Through this collaboration with International Trade Administration (MOEA), we aim to continuously expand international channels, participating not only in IFE but also planning to engage in the European market in the future. The government will continue to support fastener companies in enhancing their technology and product applications. Accompanying all of you throughout this show is a valuable learning journey for me, and I hope to better understand your needs so that together we can overcome challenges such as tariffs, exchange rates, and others. I wish for the fastener industry to continue thriving, shining brightly, and creating greater value for Kaohsiung."
Chairman Yung-Yu Tsai stated: "First, I want to thank Fastener World for hosting this gala dinner and express gratitude to the Kaohsiung City Government for their strong support, which has allowed us to work closely with fastener companies to understand their export conditions in the U.S. while they participate in this show. We believe this participation has deepened our understanding of the difficulties American clients face regarding the Section 232 tariffs. After returning home, Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute will collaborate with the government to devise strategies and work hard to resolve the tariff challenges confronting Taiwanese companies. Additionally, facing fierce competition between Taiwanese and Chinese products in the European, American, and Southeast Asian markets, we will actively communicate with clients to explore the possibility of relocating their warehouses to Taiwan. This will enhance Taiwan's industrial capacity utilization, strengthen the Taiwan-U.S. ties, and ensure the long-term survival of Taiwan's fastener industry."
Both of them wished all exhibitors a success and looked forward to new breakthroughs and achievements in the U.S. market.
Fastener World has long been dedicated to promoting Taiwan's fastener industry. By organizing "Fastener World Night," it not only demonstrates support for the exhibitors but also hopes to unite support through this dining event, working together to enhance the image of Taiwan's fastener industry. This lively and warm event not only marked the opening of IFE 2025 but also gave Taiwanese exhibitors full confidence and excitement.
