Japan Domestic Car Production of First Half Year Declined by 29.2%

According to the statistics from Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Japan domestic car production declined by 29.2% on a year-on-year basis in the first half of 2011, reducing to 3. 4299 million units from 4.8438 million units in the same period last year. Among which the production categories such as passenger cars, and trucks were shown at different downturn levels. In the first half of 2011, the global car production of TOYOTA (including its subsidiaries, Daihatsu Motor and Hino Motors) was 3.3757 million units, dropping by 22.5% on a year-on-year basis.
