On August 13th (Tue.), U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted again that his administration is going to exempt certain Chinese products imported into the U.S. from the current tariff plan set to take effect in September 1st, 2019. Some items related to health, safety, national security and other factors will not be charged with the extra 10% tariff and some other already planned tariffs will be also delayed until December this year.

Certain items exported from China to the U.S., which include cellular phones, laptops, video game consoles, toys, computer monitors, and some footwear and clothes, will face the extra tariff since December 15th.
