Ching Chan Optical Technology has been relentlessly studying and developing fastener optical sorting machines since 1994. So far the sales of Ching Chan optical sorting machines have amounted to 3,500 units. The company started another field of business in 2014 manufacturing fastener forming machines and became the only maker in Taiwan supplying high-speed forming machines. As the finale of 2018, the company announced to have passed the audit of listing qualification and set a new milestone for business.

At the podium for the announcement, Ching Chan president Alex Wu said, “Our research and development of high-speed forming machines is now mature and the machines are ready to be commoditized. These machines have no competitors in Taiwan and they have extremely high cost/performance ratio on the global scale. Therefore we choose to go listed at this timing, and we hope this will bring brilliant sales performance for 2019.” On the latest development of the company, Wu said he has invested NTD 500 million for the past 4 years developing the world’s first one-stop production line encompassing forming and all the way down to sorting. He already received large orders from around the world and expects to start shipping next year. Additionally, Hwa Hsing Screw president Jim C.N. Chen was invited to this event to speak on his user experience and Alex Wu’s 25-year entrepreneurship and how dedicated Wu is in building machines. The event was also joined by many political and financial officers and was very successful.

In Ching Chan’s 25 years of history, the company has accrued over 1,000 clients from 300 countries. Its optical sorting machine has 47 patents and is able to process 300 different types of optical inspection and applies to the automotive, precision machine, aerospace, construction industries, etc. The machine even made it to the top of 25 best fastener equipment ranking in the U.S. Ching Chan’s achievement with its optical sorting machine, forming machine and the world’s first unique one-stop production line make itself a critical driver accelerating Taiwan’s fastener upgrade and transformation and spawning Taiwan’s strength across the world.
