Taiwan CSC 2nd Sales Office Director Lee said in a previous customers meeting that before the lunar Chinese New Year some heating furnaces and wire facilities will stop operation temporarily due to annual renovation and parts replacement and the supply will be reduced by 2-5%. He called upon customers to place their order requests best before the year end. The facilities will stop operation from Jan. 23rd through Feb. 13th. If the bank spring holidays (Feb. 15-20) are also taken into account, the supply will be surely becomes really tight.

Lee added that over the past few years most downstream manufacturers demanding large volumes of steel products used to place their orders before Jan. 10th. However, this year (2017) all orders would be suggested to be placed before the year end.
