19 years ago Matpro Seiki was merely a local parts OEM focusing on domestic sales. However, due to the influence of the global financial crisis, sluggish markets and adverse price cutting, Matrpro had to make changes to expand its business scope 10 years after the inception. It has become a company focusing on foreign trade since 2008 in order to avoid the influence of various unstable factors in the domestic market. Matpro’s manufacturing base is located in Chuansing Industrial Park of Changhua and its operation for foreign trade is located in Taichung.

Matpro Seiki fully implements the TS-16949 quality management system to strengthen its employees’ knowledge on quality and skill training, helping them understand APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA and having these 5 major tools implemented completely, which is favorable for the company to satisfy requirements of customers from various industries. Matpro serves a wide range of industries, such as sanitary ware, hand tools, bicycles, fasteners, automobiles, medical metal parts, etc.

In terms of material processing, Matpro Seiki has never set any limit on material properties and sizes. The more sophisticated the part is, the better Matpro is in manufacturing. Within the manufacturing capabilities of the company, Matpro can definitely accept the orders. In addition, logistics is one of the major advantages of Matpro as well. When any customer encounters issues pertaining to quality or product shortage, Matpro is able to deal with it in the first place. Quality issues can be solved and effectively improved soon within a day and a good way to prevent the same issue from happening again will be also proposed. If any product is in short supply, Matpro will try its best to have it replenished within one week and ship it to the customer (whether  the order is from the domestic or overseas markets).

Noticing the importance of quality, Matpro makes no compromise over every detail. When Matpro faces any technical problem in manufacturing engineering, it will always communicate with customers in the first place in order to prevent spreading wrong messages due to traders’ lack of technical knowledge. Furthermore, Matpro has integrated resources and technologies from factories around the region (e.g., multiple strokes, stroke pressure, plastic injection, die casting, powder metallurgy, secondary processing, heat treatment, surface treatment, etc.). It can offer a diverse range of services according to different parts manufacturing and quality requirements, providing customers with more options that can help them save cost. In the process of quality control, Matpro conducts seamless control to ensure every part is compliant to customers’ requirements and uploads test reports to the management system. If Matpro’s opinion is against the opinion of a certain customer, it will follow the customer’s opinion in the end. Its manufacturing in the factory must comply to the requirement of AQL<0.4% in order to prevent the defective rate in the post-manufacturing procedure from increasing. All factories in partnership with Matpro will be strictly examined by Matpro and carelessness on quality is definitely not allowed. Matpro expects to receive a TS16949 certificate by 2019 to increase the entire competitiveness of the company.
