Recently, Mazda has told their plan about recalling to AQISQ (General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China). Starts from April 3rd, they will recall parts of the imported 2010 model year Mazda 3, manufactured from May 26, 2009 to September 30, 2010. According to the statistic, there will be 8785 cars involved in this recall.

The reasons of the recalling are that the seat height adjustment links can break or detach from the seat frame and the bushing nuts which are used to prevent loosening aren’t fixed properly. If customers keep driving the car, the seat may appear strange noise and loosening problem. Under some circumstances, the seat height adjustment links may be damaged or fall off, causing the change of seat angle and increase the risk of a crash.

Mazda will recall the related cars and inspect the seat links and either install a reinforcement bracket and bushing buts or replace the whole seat adjustment unit to eliminate the hidden danger.
