Ichiyanagi Co Ltd and Osaka Forming Co Ltd co-developed an anti-loosening nut called "SK Lock Nut". Ichiyanagi's original anti-loosening nut (with good sales in its railroad applications) is added with 3-wing friction rings (special rings) to become the high-performance SK Nut with double functions and the ability to early prevent loosening despite axial force drop. The spiral structure of the friction rings complies with the nut's female threads to enable smooth fastening and repeatability.
