Madison Heights Company Breaks Ground on Holly Distribution Center

Madison Heights-based Shannon Precision Fastener LLC hosted a groundbreaking ceremony, Nov. 4 for a distribution facility in Holly Township. Shannon Precision Fastener manufactures precision engineered fasteners for automotive OEMs including seat belt bolts and powertrain and chassis parts.
The new 71,000 square-foot, state-of- the-art center is the first of multiple industrial facilities proposed by the company. “We expect to employ approximately 50 people at this facility,” Edward L. Lumm, Shannon Precision Fastener president/CEO said in a news release. “However, our master plan will allow us to construct three manufacturing locations and an additional distribution facility as needed. Once completed this industrial complex could employ up to 500 people,” Lumm said.
