Chicago Pneumatic has released a new butterfly impact wrench as part of its new series of ultra-compact vehicle service air tools. The wrench is light weight, 15% smaller than its predecessor and was made in response to user demand for smaller, lighter tools, according to the company.

The CP7711/21 butterfly ultra-compact ¼ in. and 3/8 in. wrench weighs just 1.16 lbs. and delivers 80 ft./lbs. of maximum torque in reverse, and is 5.5 in. long and 1.5 in. wide. The forward and reverse butterfly lever is placed on the top, while the 180° air inlet swivel and the three speed power regulator are positioned at the back of the tool.

“We have seen a growing trend for lighter and smaller tools with improved handling and maneuverability in the vehicle service market, and we're excited to launch the new ultra-compact butterfly wrench, which can go wherever the user's hand fits,” says Luis Clement, Chicago Pneumatic Tools vice president.
