In late July of 2014, Plarad Co., Ltd released the cordless torque wrench (battery type) exclusively used for fastening large nuts. The product fastens large nuts at high speed, and manages torque in high precision. It can be used in places with no power supply, and performs very well in maintaining engineering/heavy machines, and fastening large nuts in windmills and towers. Unlike impact wrenches, it does not come with an impact device, its does not come with an impact device, therefore eliminating vibration with sound level at 75dB appropriate for night operation.

The product includes 4 models. Maximum fastening torque values include 500Nm, 900Nm, 1,050Nm,  and 2,600Nm. At 500Nm torque value and without any load,  revolutions per minute reach as high as 90. With small size and light weight, maximum torque can reach 2,600Nm. Torque can be configured in 48 stages to fasten large nuts at high speed while managing torque in high precision. It has switch-type LED light with high luminance appropriate for use in dark environment. It uses high capacity lithium battery (18V / 4.2Ah) and clearly displays the amount of remaining power.
