2014-07-25
The Würth Group signed an international cooperation agreement with STRABAG SE, one of the leading European technology groups for construction services.

The agreement means that standardised prices and article descriptions apply to STRABAG businesses in six European countries when purchasing around 2,300 items from the Würth product range.

The new framework agreement expands the already existing strategic partnership between Würth and STRABAG in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. On a European level, the two companies had already signed a first international framework agreement for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2010. In Germany, Würth looks back on more than 15 years of successful strategic cooperation with STRABAG, which is one of Würth Group’s largest customers in the construction industry.

"We are pleased that we were able to further expand our long-standing cooperation with STRABAG SE. It proves the trust and confidence that STRABAG places in Würth as supplier", said Norbert Heckmann. "It is the objective of our cooperation to jointly grow in other markets, too."

Mathias Ertingshausen added: "When working on our orders, we involve selected, tried and tested subcontractors and vendors apart from our own competences and resources in the spirit of quality and economic efficiency. We are happy to have found a well respected partner in the Würth Group that will support us even more intensively in doing so in the future on the basis of this international framework agreement.”
