Last year TFTA (Taiwan Fastener Trading Association) held the first edition of International Fastener Show Tainan (IFST) which gained public recognition and ended with success. As TFTA's new chairman Bill Chen comments on this year's 3rd edition of Taiwan International Fastener Show, he thinks the venue and scale is larger than the previous edition, which indicates Taiwan's significant role in the international fastener market. As a response to the anticipated industry, he announces the 2nd edition of IFST will launch in June 2015 as the pillar for Taiwanese fastener export.

To prevent from clashing with Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2015 (March & April) and Fastener Expo Shanghai (May & June), Bill pointed out IFST will be scheduled for launch in June so that global buyers can arrange to attend the show and visit other Asian nations concurrently. The venue will most likely be in southern Taiwan where Taiwanese fastener corporations conglomerate. More detail about IFST will be revealed after TFTA council reaches a decision on April 28.
