Founded in 1894, the Helmond, Netherlands-headquartered Nedschroef began its business as a rivet manufacturer for the shipbuilding industry. Later on in 1950s, it turned to manufacture higher-end automotive fasteners and developed fastener machines for its own use. In 1961, the machine manufacturing department of Nedschroef was separated from the fastener sales department and was moved to a new machine manufacturing factory in Herentals, Belgium as its global operation center. Up to this date, Nedschroef Machinery has become a world leading manufacturer of multi-stage cold/hot formers and a supplier of molds.
