The GN732 series plain shoulder screws with collar, together with the industry standard ISO 7379 version with polished bearing surface. These are commonly used throughout engineering to provide accurate fixing, while leaving a component free to move.  Collared shoulder screws may be used with DIN 444 eye screws. In addition, the precision polished collar of the ISO 7379 type screw enables very precise location of two or more components in place of a normal machine screw – whereby the components are aligned on the collar and retained by the thread/nut assembly, giving a much more accurate assembly than a normal screw with clearance hole. Collar sizes of 5mm to 24mm are available in lengths from 5mm to 100mm dependant on specification.
