For a year from the official start of the activity of Open Company "UniFens" ("Severstal-metiz" group's branch in Kazakhstan), it started to manufacture about 40 kinds and standard sizes of gauze constructions. Products are most demanded in hydraulic engineering construction - building and redesign of dams, channels, water-storage basins, strengthening of river shores, ponds and other hydraulic engineering and meliorative systems and constructions.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (Ministry of Emergency Measures), the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Preservation of the environments, and local authorities successfully realized the partnership with Open Company “Gabions of Kazakhstan”. So, in deadlines a series of projects were realized in Almaty and Almaty area with the Ministry of Emergency Measures for minimization of emergency situations and liquidation of the after-effects caused by the natural phenomena. One more interesting project is the building of an oil-extracting deposit in the West Kazakhstan area.
Successful cooperation with Open Company “Gabions of Kazakhstan” proceeds since the first days of company's work in Kazakhstan. Partners of "UniFens" provide engineering service to potential customers, and also carry out work on medium-term and long-term planning for the decrease of rebuilding and creation of minimum liquid products stock.
“Gabions in the Kazakhstan market are young, but an actual product. The area of gauze products in republic is extensive. Dynamic sales volume increase shows that our product has a demand, therefore we are convinced in cooperation prospects with Severstal-metiz,” comments Sergey Kim, general director of Open Company “Gabions of Kazakhstan”.
“The first year for Open Company ‘UniFens’ was a formation stage. But already during this period it made lots of work: from manufacturing operations and contacts with customers to participation in large republican projects. The factory works stably today, and has a big portfolio of orders, and we are assured of its further development, "comments Alexander Shevelev, general director of "Severstal-metiz".
