In response to the expectation of Taiwan fastener industry, Taiwan CSC adjusted its price of electric furnace al-killed wire rod for June downward by NTD1,400 per ton to NTD20,800 per ton. The current transaction price lies between NTD19,800 and NTD20,300 per ton (which is the lowest record in history). However,  the material costs of Taiwan and China still displays a tremendous difference, which indirectly affects the performance of Taiwan fastener industry, even the price for June has been decreased. As a result, several Taiwanese fastener manufacturers expect the price for July can be more favorable to them.
