"Severstal-Metiz" (a family of “the Russian Severstal Steel”) gained the certificate confirming the compliance of system quality management to requirements of international automobile standard ISO/TS 16949:2009.
The solution of certificate prolongation was accepted in February, after the certification check which passed in the calibrated steel and steel forming profiles manufacture on a Cherepovets platform - the products used by factories of the automotive industry. The compliance with requirements of standard ISO/TS 16949:2009 allows not only to strengthen relations with already existing customers, but also grants the right to participate in tenders for manufacture accessories both for domestic and foreign car manufacturers and the service centers.
“Certification is a necessary condition for relations development with car manufacturers. By confirming the certificate, we managed to confirm the status of qualitative products manufacturer for the car industry. At the same time, audit showed us areas for improvement and growth, and it is not least result of check as it forces us to develop,”commented the general director of "Severstal-Metiz" Oleg Veter.
The following check will be at Cherepovets platform already in the end of this year. Similar checks are lead throughout all period of the certificate.
