Nissan to Recall 13,900 Altima Vehicles in U.S. due to Faulty Bolt Problem

Nissan will recall 13,900 Altima vehicles of the model year 2012 and 2013 because of the possibility of bolt loosening problems, which increase the risk of traffic accidents.

U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicated that the traverse link bolts and power steering rack bolts of the Altima vehicles may have failed to be torqued to the proper range of specification. The situations that bolts loosen or fall out may thus happen and affect the normal driving of the vehicles.
