Mecavit Continues to Invest

Mecavit Srl says that its production facility extension, which was opened in 2010, has enabled the company to provide a better quality working environment.
Mecavit highlights that its production facility is situated in a modern industrial zone, close to Bologna, in the heart of the most advanced engineering area in Italy. The premises were built with the most modern technological systems, and extend to an area of approximately 7,500 square metres, 6,500m2 dedicated to production and 1,000m2 to offices.
"The new production plant provides a quality of working environment that safeguards the health and physical well-being of the company's workforce, as well as ensuring their motivation to continue to achieve the highest standards to its customers."
Mecavit has continued its strategy of investments, following the installation of the latest generation heat treatment line during the plant extension. It has now added two new cold forging machines - 5 and 6 blow - to increase and improve the production capacity for high value specialist products. New secondary operation machines and new thread rolling machines equipped to insert captive washers, completes the special equipment investment.
