"Corporate Social Responsibility Development Center" of Ukraine released a survey report for companies' transparency and corporate performance.  The leading metal industry company, Metinvest, ranks the second in both these two indices. This investigation and appraisal methods are taken from the internationally renowned institution called Beyond Business CSR advisory.  According to the standard, Metinvest is not only ranked the second in Ukraine, but also listed in one of the world's top ten highest transparency companies.

The study is one of the projects of the United Reform Alliance (UNITER), and supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).  The study covers more than 100 companies that are the best large enterprises in the Ukrainian market.

The top ten companies are as follow: DTEK (the largest energy company in Ukraine), Metinvest, Obolon (beer brewing), System Capital Management, SCM (a consortium including energy, financial and metal manufacturing industries), Ernst & Young Ukraine, Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine, Kyivstar (Ukraine Mobile Telecommunications company) and Galnaftogaz (oil and gas company in Ukraine).

This billboard focused on objectivity and openness of business operations information. At the same time, it also examines whether the company's public information is updated on the Internet. In addition to their public financial reports, the top ten companies need to publish the status of implementation details of social responsibility and ecological maintenance regularly.
