Russia Joins WTO Tariff Reduction Agreement

The import weighted average tariff rate of Russia industrial products from 2008 to 2010 was 9.4%. As a member of WTO, Russia now joins the WTO tariff reduction agreement. After a two to three years transition period (the most sensitive product need a longer period of five to seven years), the import weighted average tariff rate of Russia industrial products will reduce to 6.4%.
