South Korean Public Fastener Maker KPF Officially Taps into Southeast Asia via Its Subsidiary in Vietnam

Benefiting from the improved sales performance of Vietnam subsidiary, fasteners and automotive parts maker KPF is officially tapping into the local market of Vietnam and Southeast Asia. KPF set up a subsidiary in Vietnam in 2010, and last year the subsidiary's revenue reached KRW 40.7 billion, breaching the break-even point. This year the subsidiary has achieved a high growth margin with the accumulated revenue of the first 3 quarters reaching KRW 34.1 billion and operating profits at KRW 2.7 billion.
Particularly, a 6-people delegation including the Chief of Hai Duong Province (Northern Vietnam), Chairman of People's Committee, and the chairman of local industrial park recently visited KPF headquarters. The delegation agree to support KPF in participating in the infrastructure of Vietnam. KPF and the delegation reached an agreement to actively be a part of the industry development of Vietnam.
KPF representative said, "The profits improvement of our overseas subsidiaries including the one in Vietnam makes us feel optimistic for the overall business improvement for this year. We are planning to step out from Vietnam into the infrastructure of surrounding Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia."
