Plans are moving forward on a nearly $1 million investment by a Kendallville fastener manufacturer. The city's economic development advisory committee has approved a tax abatement request from Bollhoff Inc. The company currently employs 45 and the investment does not include any additional jobs. The two new machines will boost production capacity for an Italian auto maker client. Bollhoff is located in the city's East Industrial Park. Director of Operations Chris Lautzenhiser said could add more equipment, jobs and a third shift within the next two to three years.
