The Norway-based Dokka Fasteners celebrated its 140th anniversary on Nov. 19th this year. Over the past 140 years, the company has created lots of remarkable history, development, and investments.

 

The company started the operation in 1875 in Oslo, Norway. Its business has been always about fasteners and the product range has also continuously expanded to cover new industries since the inception.

 

Dokka is specialized in hot forged high tensile bolts, which are delivered to several industries and has invested heavily in equipment and production facilities. In 2003 the production was gradually automated, and robots took over processes, which were previously handled manually. In 2011, a new production line was started up, and today the company has become one of the world’s most automated fastener manufacturers.
