Pete Beecherl has joined PennEngineering® as Vice President of Global Automotive, it was announced by the Company. In this newly created position, Beecherl will drive and coordinate strategic initiatives for the Company worldwide across all automotive-related brands and businesses, including PennEngineering® Automotive Fastener Co. Ltd. (PEAF), PROFIL, and PEM® and Atlas® brand fasteners and inserts.  

 

Beecherl has particularly strong background in the areas of automation, engineering and engineered parts, as well as expertise in sales and business development. He most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and Business Development at Acument Global Technologies (now Fontana) and previously held senior engineering, product management, automation, marketing, and sales roles for Emhart Teknologies, Textron Fastening Systems, Avdel, and Lamb Technicon.

 

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The General Motors Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
