Main Training Courses Provided by U.S. Fastener Training Institute

A Course for Engineers:
To coincide with AeroCon 2011, U.S. Fastener Training Institute (FTI) invited Bengt Blendulf at EduPro U.S. to offer a 2-day technical training, fastening technology, and bolted/screwed joint design for engineers. AeroCon is a part of the large trade show organized specially for manufacturers and designers in the field of aviation/aerospace and national defense. The course is scheduled to take place on February 10-11, 2011 in Anaheim, California. It will provide design, manufacture, and quality engineers with complete grounding of mechanical fastener joint technology and will also provide information of the latest specification, technology, and guidance.

A Course for Automotive Fastener Technology:
The 2-day course especially for the automotive industry will be held on April 27-28, 2011 in Detroit. Contents of the course will include basic metallurgy, torque tension, hydrogen embrittlement, and why parts fail, as well as visits to heat treatment and coating/surface treatment facilities.

"Certified Fastener Specialist™" Back for 2011:
Fastener Training Institute in partnership with Industrial Fasteners Institute will provide an extensive weeklong advanced "Certified Fastener Specialist™" course. It was held on July 19-23, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. The attendance was more than in 2009. According to the organizer, 95% of the students said they would suggest others in the industry to attend this course. The next course will be held on July 25-29, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio.
