Global car market boom brings purchase orders to ecstatic component suppliers in Taiwan. Sumeeko is a Tier 1 supplier for GM and Chrysler, and a Tier 2 supplier for Tesla and Toyota. Not only does its revenue and profit reach a new high, its 5-month accumulative revenue also grows near 30% compared with previous period.

Sumeeko started with a small scale and later became an OEM fastener supplier for major car companies in Europe, US, and Japan. It received GM's "Supplier of the Year" award two year in a row since 2012. It is the only Taiwanese company to have received this award. Although Sumeeko has expanded its plant in Dafa Industrial Park, it is still looking for proper land for further expansion near the existing plant, considering the fact that client places more orders this year. Turning to the focus of investors and shareholders, which is the China market, new car sales have breached 20 million mark, meaning China has replaced US as the largest car market in the world. Recently Sumeeko has been evaluating when and how to enter the China market by acquisitions to ensure business growth force.
