Carlson Systems Holdings, Inc., a leader in fastening and product assembly systems, announces the completion of their acquisition of Western Tool Supply, a distribution company committed to providing customers with quality products and services primarily for the fastening and construction industries.
Western Tool Supply was founded in 1982 and has 14 stocking locations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah, with its corporate offices located in Salem, Oregon. The
key to the acquisition is the great culture fit of the two organizations.
Carlson Systems Holdings, Inc. is the holding company for Carlson Systems, LLC (www.carlsonsystems.com) and Mid-Atlantic Fasteners (www.midatlanticfasteners.com). Carlson Systems, founded in 1947, is a distributor of packaging, fastening and construction supplies and equipment with over 30 locations Sales Offices and Distribution Centers throughout the United States and Mexico. Mid-Atlantic Fasteners (www.midatlanticfasteners.com) was founded in 1948 and has 15 Sales Offices and Distribution Centers located in Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Delaware and Virginia, with its corporate offices located in Jessup, Maryland.
The acquisition of Western Tool Supply expands the Carlson territory into the Pacific Northwest and presents a strategic initiative to provide additional sales and service support for the most recognized product brands in the fastening and construction industries.
