Secretary Chief Luo of Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association (TMDIA) said that the consecutive investment of foreign industries into China has to some extent caused pressure on Chinese mold & die industry. Although Chinese mold & die industry still has a long way to go regarding its manufacturing technology and product quality, this difference can be also regarded as the drive and will definitely drive the innovation and development of Chinese mold & die industry.

So far, the global mold & die industry is moving to China including world-famous manufacturers from Germany, Japan, and Finland. These industrial “giants” cannot only increase the level of Chinese mold & die industry, but also provide other international industries with better developing chances. These foreign industries can make profit in China on the one hand, and can gain the competitiveness in the market by exploiting lower production cost in China on the other hand.

All in all, the growing Chinese mold & die market is favorable to the development of Chinese and foreign mold & die industry.
