On January 1st 2013, Russia implements a new national standard GOST R54786-2011 for “removable nuclear plant fasteners” in order to make consistency with nations in Russian Federation.

According to sources, the standard is adopted by Russia for the first time, mainly applicable to removable fasteners in new clear reactors, steam generators, heat exchangers, outer case of pumps, accessories, and pipe system. The standard is drafted by specialists in “Prometheus” central institute of structural materials.
