Though under the overhanging sluggish economic condition in Europe, the sales of Bossard, a Swiss group that offers a wide range of fasteners, in 2012 reached 487.1 million Swiss francs, exhibiting a healthy growth of 2.9%. Such profit in 2012 ranked 3rd in Bossard’s history. In 2012, Bossard’s sales in the U.S. and Mexico, which constituted the two most decisive markets to Bossard, exhibited a growth of 10.6%. In particular, its sales to the U.S. reached 152 million Swiss francs, comprising almost one third of its total sales. The driving force of the increase in its sales has come from John Deere, which is the leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery in the world and whose machinery comprises 48% of the market share of the U.S.
