75% of Italy-made fasteners are shipped to foreign OEMs, especially the auto industry; the rest are mainly sold to end users and markets through distributors. OEMs including auto, industrial vehicles, earthmoving equipment, agricultural machinery, construction, home appliances, machinery, sophisticated machinery, electronics, ship building, and furniture industry.

Distribution is one direct route for Italian fastener industry that can uplift product volume going into traditional distributors and retailers, especially hardware shops. Additionally, modern distribution routes include large-scale retail traders and large-scale retail purchasers.
