Rick Hillman spent 43 years at The Hillman Group Inc., helping the company become a leading provider of fasteners. Recently, the 63-year-old Hillman retired from the Springfield Township-based hardware distributor founded by his father in 1964. Jim Waters, who joined The Hillman Group in 1999, will assume Hillman's duties as COO.
