Sundram Fasteners Ltd, (SFL) a part of TVS group of companies, is likely to invest 150 crore on the expansion of its auto parts capacity to meet future demand. This is expected to further strengthen the capacities of its products like hubs, shafts, fasteners and sintered metals.

The company recently forayed into the manufacture of components for wind turbine generators. SFL is setting up a facility for fasteners for wind power generators in Puducherry with an initial investment of 50 crore.
The company has also drawn up a 25-crore expansion plan for its Maraimalai Nagar factory in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu.
Project cost : Rs.50 crore. (9,437,407.14USD).
