2011-11-30
We are proud to announce that the Italian multinational Agrati Group, a major European company in the fasteners industry for more than 70 years and the American company Semblex Corporation, a fastener manufacturer and engineering resource located in Elmhurst, Illinois, have made a global alliance to provide fastener solutions and cold-formed special products for top OEM and component suppliers with global locations.
The alliance has the objective to combine two supplier teams in order to provide global customers with a single source for technical, quality, and logistics support.
Local engineering support, local quality response and local sales support to purchasing, as well as “in-country” inventory, material planning, and other logistics support for customer plants in all three regions are granted for customer plants in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Agrati and Semblex share the same values of excellence, quality and innovation, together with the team work, on an international scale.
The alliance allows selected customers to:
Ø      Have a synergy on design and application solutions between Europe and Asia (Agrati) and North America (Semblex)
Ø      Compare technical specifications to European, Asian and American standards to ensure common global part design
Ø      Receive applications, part testing, and validation support in Europe, Asia (Agrati) and North America (Semblex)
Ø      Have sample availability in Europe, Asia and North America
Ø      Make cost-reduction programs coordinated in Europe, Asia and North America
Ø      Take advantage of a strong, synchronized supplier team supporting USA purchasing and engineering teams in Europe, Asia and North America
Ø      Optimize logistics and control shipping costs through the presence of in-country inventory, materials planning, and customer service regardless of where in the world the customer plant is located.
