The International Trade Exhibition on Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Reinvented - MTA Vietnam 2024 Returns from July 2^nd to 5^th at Ho Chi Minh City, marking its 20-year journey in Vietnam

The 20^th International Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Reinvented Exhibition & Conference - MTA Vietnam 2024 will officially return from July 02^nd to 05^th, 2023, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Organized by Informa Markets Vietnam, the event is expected to attract over 450+ exhibitors from more than 20+ countries and territories, covering a total area of 17,600+ sqm. With an estimated 14,000+ trade visitors, MTA Vietnam 2024 is poised to be a pivotal hub for seizing lucrative trade opportunities, exploring market entry strategies, exchanging knowledge and fostering collaboration within the dynamic landscape of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam.

According to data from the Foreign Investment Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment, as of December 20, 2023, the total foreign investment capital registered in Vietnam (FDI) reached nearly 36.61 billion USD, indicating an increase of 32.2% over the same period. The implemented capital of foreign investment projects is estimated at about 23.18 billion USD, reflecting a 3.5% increase compared to 2022. This marks the highest disbursement level on record. Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI) reported that domestic demand for mechanical products could hit around $300 billion by 2030. With about 25,000 active mechanical enterprises, accounting for nearly 30 percent of enterprises in Vietnam's processing and manufacturing industry, the domestic mechanical engineering industry has gradually increased the localisation rate. Particularly, motorcycle production has had a localisation rate of 85-95%, meeting domestic and export demand.
