SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2026 to support China’s national momentum for industrial transformation

Guangzhou, 3 July 2025. SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2026, the international SPS brand’s annual showcase in China, will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from 4 – 6 March 2026 under the theme “Forging smarter production, shaping limitless possibilities”. Together with co-located exhibitions, the event’s 2026 edition is expected to draw over 500 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from China and abroad across 40,000 sqm of floor space.

In China, favourable government policy is creating significant, long-term opportunities for the industrial automation sector. Key government targets include the digital transformation of 70% of manufacturing enterprises with an annual revenue of RMB 20 million (USD 2.8 million) or above by 2025. This is part of a large-scale modernisation of the country's manufacturing base, driven by a national focus on the digital economy and green development.

Well-established in Guangzhou and serving the extensive application market of the Greater Bay Area, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou connects participants to opportunities in over 30 of the region’s top industries, including automotive engineering, 3C manufacturing, mechanical engineering, packaging and printing and new energy.

Exhibitors, including top international and domestic suppliers of industrial automation technologies, will showcase a wide selection of products and solutions including sensor technologies, drive systems and components, control technologies, interface technologies, industrial communications and industrial robotics. The 2026 edition will highlight three core focus areas:

AI in manufacturing: Featuring AI solutions that enhance key operations such as quality control and equipment maintenance, helping manufacturers address challenges in efficiency and precision.
Sustainable smart manufacturing: Highlighting green manufacturing technologies and low-carbon production methods designed to support companies in achieving their sustainability objectives.
Industrial cybersecurity enhancement: Presenting comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for smart factories, including equipment security protection, encrypted data transmission and vulnerability detection, helping enterprises strengthen their overall security measures.

Industry anticipation evident from early exhibitor sign-ups
A comprehensive showcase of automation technologies is already taking shape for the 2026 edition, with many leading suppliers confirming their participation early. The initial list of exhibitors includes Autonics, Binder, Defuro, Dingshi, ESPE, Gotytech, Heyi, Hongrun, Jiaerling, Jiawei, MARVTECH, Mouser Electronics, Odot, RayThink, Shijie Intelligent, Sipeize, SUENW, Tianli, Tongchuang, Wattsan, and Weide Electric, representing key product categories including sensor technologies, machine vision, industrial communications, drive and control technologies, interface technologies and pneumatic components.

International Pavilion to provide a gateway for global business
As part of the international SPS network, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou draws exhibitor participation from countries and regions including Germany, Japan, South Korea and the US. The event's dedicated International Pavilion provides these global companies with a platform to connect with customers and develop business partnerships in the region. Following its 2025 edition, which featured participants such as AC&E, NRW.Global Business, MISUMI, and Tesollo, the International Pavilion will return in 2026.

In addition, the fair's 2026 edition will also spotlight Italian manufacturing in partnership with SPS Italia, providing Italian manufacturers with a platform to present their latest innovations and establish a commercial foothold in the Asian market. This collaboration will highlight the industrial capabilities of Italy, the EU's second-largest manufacturing economy, known for its technological expertise and high concentration of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou is co-organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Co Ltd, Guangzhou Overseas Trade Fairs Ltd and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. Guangdong Association of Automation, Guangzhou Association of Automation and Guangzhou Instrument and Control Society serve as honorary organisers. The fair is also supported by the China International Chamber of Commerce Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce.
