M-Tech TOKYO

The 18th edition of M-Tech Tokyo 2014 is taking place in Tokyo Big Sight. According to the real-time report of our onsite specialist, the show gathers 47 prefectures of Japan and 16 overseas countries, as well as Taiwanese exhibitors including Chun Yu, Wa Tai, and Hong Deh Bao, which tell us that they are optimistic and positive for this show. The hallways are packed with inquiring people especially when time approaches to noon.

Recently Japan has gone full throttle for a historically significant revolution. Prime Minister Abe’s “three economic arrows” brings depreciated yens to the hope of industry recovery, but looking at the long-term Japan still faces challenges upfront. Japanese economy is mostly purported by SMEs, of which 99% are undergoing these 3 situations: “polarized development towards Tokyo”, “business succession problems”, and “investment & employment going overseas” (a typical example is Japanese manufacturing industry actively purchasing from and building plants in ASEAN and Latin America). This is exactly the problem faced by the Japanese exhibitors of this show. Propelled by this social development, the scale of “Manufacturing World 2014 Japan” has expanded to 2,100 exhibitors and 78 thousand visitors, and a venue area equivalent to 4.8 Tokyo Domes. The exhibitors of “M-Tech Tokyo”, one of the shows of “Manufacturing World”, has accounted for 1,430 companies, most of which are SMEs. That is over half of the total exhibitor count! Those Japanese exhibitors are here to grab a lion’s share of domestic and overseas business opportunity. As this show contains numerous companies and products, exhibitors should register in advance and choose the most appropriate booth. This is a very important show.

If you are to scout for the business opportunity in the arrows of Japanese revolution, M-Tech Tokyo is the one you should never miss out!
